Am I required to enter payment information?

Yes. We require payment information in order to schedule your home cleaning. We do not charge your card until your cleaning has been completed. Guaranteed.

What does it cost to clean my home?

We offer flat-rate pricing that is based on the number of bedrooms you would like us to clean. This also includes any additional bathrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and kitchen areas. All our prices are transparent. To find out about our pricing click the here.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards for payment. Payment will only be collected after your cleaning service has been completed. Guaranteed.

Late Cancellation Fees?

Here at, we want to make sure that everybody’s appointments are serviced. It takes us time to find the right home cleaning professional for you. This is why we ask for 24 hours notice for all cancellations. Cancellations made the day of your appointment will incur a $30 charge.

Day of Cleaning

How long will my cleaning take?

We generally estimate 1 hour per bedroom, but we do not specify a length of time for cleaning. We clean until we are finished for a standard home within reason. For special cases like hoarders, pet waste, or extremely large homes, we may adjust the price amount for fairness.

How many cleaners do you send?

We typically refer a team of 2 professional home cleaners. Depending on the size of the home the team can be 3 professional home cleaners.

Do you have your own supplies?

Yes, our referrals bring all the supplies and smiles 🙂 . If you have a preference for specific products to be used please let us know.

Do I have to be home for the cleaning?

You are not required to be present when the house cleaning is preformed. Please email us instructions or call us at (916) 616-8707 if you are planning on not being home during the cleaning.

What is your 200% satisfaction guarantee?

If you are not satisfied with your referral simply notify us within 24 hours and we will send a team back out to re-clean your home. If you are still not happy, we will refund up to the whole referral price!

Our Policy

Heavy Lifting

Our cleaning teams cannot move anything heavier than 30 lbs for safety reasons. If you would like our referral to clean behind large appliances, such as a oven or refrigerator, or pieces of furniture, such as a couch, please move it prior to the cleaning visit to allow access to the area.

High to Reach Cleaning

Our referrals do not clean anything that our referrals cannot reach without a small step ladder for safety purposes regarding our teams and your home.


A great deal of Book to Clean’s time and resources are put into finding the perfect referral home cleaners for our customers. This includes checking their background and professional experience. Part of our service agreement states that you agree not to independently hire any past or present Book to Clean’s independent cleaners unless you pay our referral fee of $3,000. This amount is due in full immediately upon personal employment of the cleaner, regardless of whether you use them for a recurring or one-time service.

Breakage and Loss Policy

Notification must be made within 48 hours of service, by email here or phone, (916) 616-8707 . The domestic worker is responsible for property damages, which occur as a result of their actions.
